Respect, Understanding, Honesty.
Life is difficult.
Especially when you are overwhelmed with feelings of sadness, fear, anger, or chronic emptiness. By starting counseling, you are taking the first step towards starting to feel better. It is often difficult to reach out to a counselor because you may be telling yourself that you can handle your mental health. You might even be feeling like you don’t want to burden others with your problems. Take a moment to congratulate yourself on taking this first step.
Be Authentic. Be You.
Respect, understanding, honesty and transparency define how I counsel. I became a therapist because I have always had the belief that we are all equal. Every person deserves respect, honesty, and a safe place to be their authentic self. I love having the opportunity to sit with people during their most vulnerable moments without casting any judgement. Each individual is inherently valuable and worth listening to. I maintain a calm, judgement free atmosphere while striving to be my authentic self. I always encourage authenticity and openness.
